If you have a Optus 4G internet connection and you’re having trouble connecting to your WX Wi-Fi Hub, create a guest profile using the 2.4gHz signal and ensure the security being applied is WEP/WPA/WPA2/WPA2 PSK (AES).
This is usually created under the ‘Advanced’ tab of the wireless section of your modem admin console – if you’re unsure of how to access this your Optus team can assist with these settings. By giving this network a unique name (SSID) you can use it for future connections too.
Once created, connect your guest network to your mobile device and then use this in conjunction with AP mode .
Once the Hub is connected your mobile device can be put back onto the normal home Wi-Fi network.
Please note: This also can be used for mesh networks (i.e Google mesh)
