Smart Tap Timer may already be connected to another mobile device
Check any other mobile devices that you have and ensure they do not already have your Smart Tap Timer connected to the iGardener™ app
- If you cannot find your Smart Tap Timer connected to another mobile device, you may need to perform a hard reset:
BTX1 Bluetooth® Controlled Tap Timer
- Ensure there is a 9V battery installed
- If so, try removing the 9V battery from your BTX1 for a minimum of 15 minutes
- Ensure your smartphone is within the 20m Blutooth® range
- Ensure no other smartphones are currently paired to your BTX1
- Try restarting your smartphone, either by turning of and back on again, or using the restart function on your device
- Remove iGardener™ from your mobile device and reinstall before adding your BTX1 again
- Try resetting your BTX1:
- Locate the button inside the battery compartment
- Press and hold for 12 seconds
