Create an Automation scenario to send a message in Holman Home when the Smart Moisture Sensor needs replacing
- Open Holman Home on your smartphone/tablet.
- Tap the Smart screen (bottom centre sun icon).
- Tap the second tab, Automation.
- Tap the + icon in the top right corner of the screen to add an Automation.
- This will open up a menu titled Create Smart - beginning with the task of Set a condition.
- For the option to receive a message when the Smart Moisture Sensor battery is low, select When Device Status Changes.
- This will open a menu titled All Devices - which lists each device Holman Home is linked to.
- Tap WX1 Tap Timer as the Moisture Sensor is linked through your WX1 Tap Timer.
- This will open a menu titled Select Function - this menu lists each function that the device can perform.
- For the option to receive a message when the Smart Moisture Sensor battery is low, tap Moisture Sensor Battery.
- The Battery Level menu has two items listed which describe the condition of the battery, (Good or Replace). In the far right of the screen there is a selectable button for each battery level. Tap the Battery Level (Good or Replace) you wish to be notified about when the device reaches this level.
- Selecting one of these battery levels will redirect you to the Create Smart menu - which is now in the Set up Task phase.
- For the option to receive a message when the Smart Moisture Sensor battery is low, tap the Send notification option.
- This will bring you to the Select Notification Method menu - which will allow you to select how you would like to receive the notification.
- Choose Message Centre by tapping the button to the right of the screen.
- This will change the colour of the button to green, with a tick icon in the centre.
- Tap Next, located in green text in the top right corner of the screen.
- Once you are satisfied with your Automation, tap the green Save button at the bottom centre of the screen.
- A prompt will advise you that the Automation has been created and will ask if you would like to start using it.
- To start using the new Automation, tap Yes.
- You will be brought back to the Smart menu, where the Automation tab now has your new Automation listed.
- You are able to toggle the switch to the right of the screen to disable/enable the Automation.
- Selecting the 3 dot icon in the top right of the Automation will allow you to edit the scenario. Remember to save any changes by tapping the green Save icon at the top right corner of the screen.
