Why does my Zephyr weather station indoor display panel still show low battery, after I've replaced the outdoor vane batteries?

The Zephyr weather station (WS5092W) will need you to reconnect the outdoor vane to the display panel after changing the outdoor vane batteries.

To do this, press and hold search at the top of the display panel for 5 seconds, you'll see the RF Indicator flashing on your display panel to indicate that it is searching for the outdoor vane.

This will continue for 3min, or until the display panel and outdoor vane have reconnected.

•  If your display panel times out, try bringing the vane closer to the screen and try again.
•  If the low battery reading persists, please check your batteries are new and correctly oriented.

Do not use rechargeable batteries in the Zephyr outdoor vane, only non-rechargeable battery types can be used.
