Using a scene to water via schedule, for your Wi-Fi Plantsitter™

When you prefer to water on certain days, rather than by interval, you can set up a scene in Holman Home which will do this for you.

Please note: This can only be used when your Wi-Fi Plantsitter™ is plugged in via the USB cable - as constant Wi-Fi connection is needed to run the scene.

This scene should be offered in Holman Home as a 'recommended scene' when you load the Wi-Fi Plantsitter™ into Holman Home the first time.

Once you have added the Plantsitter™ into the app, instead of using the interval watering schedule offered in the Plantsitter™, go to Scene (bottom middle of the home page in Holman Home) and look for 'Scheduled use for plantsitter':

By selecting 'Add' you can then make changes (edits) as needed.

Simply tap the '>' beside any part of the scene and change it to match your preference

Remember to save your changes when you're done, and then this will be used in the scene.

If you've already set a schedule, you'll need to turn that off.
Untick the 'Auto Watering Status' at the bottom of the Plantsitter™ schedule page in Holman Home - this will make the screen change from green to grey in Holman Home:
Go to 'Scene' at the bottom middle of the home page:
Then tap the + at the top right of the page
Select 'For a Schedule'
Select the watering time (I've used midday in this example)
Set the repeat for the days you want to water - if you don't select any day/s then it will run just once.
Select 'Next' at the top right of the page
Now you have the start of your scene
Tap the down arrow beside 'When any condition is met' and change this to 'When all conditions are met'
Tap the + beside 'If'
Select 'A device status changes'
Select the Plantsitter™
Select 'Auto Watering Status'
Select 'Auto Watering Disabled' - because we want this to run instead of the interval in the app
Select the + beside 'Then'
Select 'Control Single device'
Select the Plantsitter™
Select 'Manual Watering', then 'On', now 'Save'
Select 'Run time', then set the number of seconds you want to water for, now 'Save'
Select 'Next' at the top right of the page
