You may find your notification settings may be disabled from Holman Home
To verify that your smartphone allows Holman Home to send notifications, please check with the following steps:
- Open the App, click 'Me' in the bottom left corner. Click 'Message Centre', click the settings button in the upper right, then check the 'Enable Notifications' toggle.
- In the Notifications Settings, you can also check whether the 'Do-Not-Disturb Schedule' was on. If you do not want a 'Do-Not-Disturb Schedule' please ensure that there are no schedules set.
- If your smartphone and device allow Holman Home to push messages, but you do not receive any messages, check whether the app 'Message Centre' has a new message notification.
The power-saving feature on some Android devices may be closing Holman Home in the background
- Please turn off the power-saving function in the settings on your Android Device, or add Holman Home to the whitelist of the power-saving function (if there is no whitelist function, you need to turn off the power-saving function)
- Please allow the App to start automatically in the system settings of your Android Device, otherwise, the Android system will periodically shut down the background process of Holman Home, which will also affect the notifications of Holman Home
