The fuse keeps blowing on my Irrigation Controller, how do I check this?
There may be no mains power connected to your Irrigation Controller
- This indicates that there is no power to your Irrigation Controller and the screen is only being powered by the 9V battery
- To check this, remove the 9V battery from the base of the Irrigation Controller
- If the display disappears completely, there is no power to your unit
- Your controller will not operate if there is an AC fault
- Check the power outlet or transformer pack for power with a multimeter
- Plug pack transformers for our indoor Irrigation Controllers are available via the link below, or from or your local electrical retailer
Transformer for indoor irrigation controller spare part
AC connections from Transformer (indoor models only)
When connecting the AC transformer to the controller block, it makes no difference which wire goes to which AC terminal. The Terminals are not positive or negative, so as long as you have a wire to each AC terminal, the controller will receive power.
