Troubleshooting Bluetooth Lighting Controllers and Tap Timers
If you're experiencing connection issues with your Bluetooth Lighting Controller or Tap Timer, please follow the steps below to reset and reconnect your device.
Step-by-Step Reset Instructions
🔌 For Bluetooth Lighting Controllers:
- Unplug the controller from the wall socket.
Do not just switch off the power—physically unplug it. - Leave it unplugged for 15 minutes.
- While waiting:
- delete the app
- download the app fresh (permissions only show at first download)
- Restart your phone after the app has reloaded.
- Location & Bluetooth Permissions:
- Android: Allow location access when prompted.
- iPhone: Allow both location and Bluetooth access when prompted.
- Plug the controller back in.
- Reconnect to the device via the app.
🔋 For Tap Timers:
- Remove the batteries.
- Leave them out for 10 minutes.
- While waiting:
- Force close the app.
- Reopen the app.
- Restart your phone after the app has reloaded.
- Location & Bluetooth Permissions:
- Android: Allow location access when prompted.
- iPhone: Allow both location and Bluetooth access when prompted.
- Reinsert the batteries.
- Reconnect to the device via the app.
