If you’re using one of our Bluetooth tap timers — BX1, BX2, or BX4 — OR a Bluetooth Lighting controller,  you only need your phone nearby when you’re setting or updating the watering schedule.

How It Works

• You must be within Bluetooth range to create or change your watering program.
• Once you tap “Update” in the app and the schedule is sent to the timer, your phone is no longer needed for the timer to run.
• The timer will store your programmed schedule and water exactly as set, even if your phone is not at home, turned off, or out of range.

Changing the Program

If you’d like to adjust the watering schedule at any time, simply reconnect within Bluetooth range, update your settings, and the timer will take care of the rest.
