Keep your tap timer in top shape with this simple cleaning process:
🔍 1. Check the Filter
- 🧵 Locate the wire mesh filter at the top of the timer.
- 🧽 It may need descaling or cleaning to remove mineral build-up or debris.
🧪 2. Prepare a Cleaning Solution
- 🧴 Mix a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water, or use a mild CLR solution.
🚿 3. Clean the Timer
- 🔧 Remove the timer from the tap.
- 💦 Shake out any excess water.
- 🪑 Place it on a flat surface (like a bench).
- 🥄 Pour the solution into the top of the timer and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- 🔄 Flip the timer upside down and repeat the process for the bottom.
🔁 4. Flush the Timer
- ⏱️ Use the MANUAL function to flush the solution through the body of the timer.
