Tap Timer may be set to 'no watering' mode
The 'no watering' mode on your QuikDial Tap Timer stops any automated programs you have in place, while still allowing manual programming of the Tap Timer. This can be beneficial in the winter months to save on water usage.
Toggle ON/OFF
- Press the main dial down for three seconds
- The 'no watering' icon will appear and stop your automated watering programs
- When you want to turn it back on, press the main dial down for three seconds
- The 'no watering' icon will disappear and your automated watering programming will continue

This would be very helpful information to include in the manual. I spent a lot of time trying to troubleshoot this before finding this article.
This function is way to easy to accidently trigger. I've accidently triggered it and accidently resolved it multiple times over the last year, never actually figuring out what happened.
In addition, is it really necessary to have a special function that puts it into 'no watering mode'? Surely since this device is designed to fit into a tap, the easiest way to put it into 'no watering mode' is to turn the tap off...?
Agree, this info needs to be in the pack
